What the client needed

The municipality of Givisiez wanted to clean up its website and have something “new”! And that also at the level of its visual identity. The client wanted to keep the motif of its crest while making it more dynamic, modern and young. The possibility of proposing a different design was not excluded.
The client wanted to keep the baseline “the good idea!” already present on the previous website.

My part of the project

In the Web Design, I integrated the baseline “the good idea!” to the banner in order to highlight the services of the town. Visually, I took the party to play on overlays and shifts to give more movement to the layout. The elements are highlighted by titles or colored backgrounds, thus obtaining a particularly daring template for a municipal administration.

Additional Project Info

After a long research on heraldic symbolism and the history of the Commune, I undertook to evolve their coat of arms accordingly and to stylize it. The result is a dynamic and modern insignia that does not totally break any link with tradition.
This link is all the more preserved as the choice of the color palette resumes the tints of the ancestral coat of arms. These are however broken to obtain a softer and modern contrast.
